Monday Oct 10, 2016
Monday Oct 10, 2016
Last month, Ed made a flying visit back to England in order to attend the first annual London Podcast Festival at King's Place in London. He's joined by Zoë Jeyes, the Comedy Programmer for King's Place and producer of the festival, to discuss how the festival came together, the great shows they saw (including, but not limited to, Bullseye, Judge John Hodgman, The Moth and Little Atoms), and to extol the virtues of Hollywood Handbook, in a segment that will make almost no sense to anyone who hasn't listened to that show.

34. Sheffield DocFest 20
Tuesday Jun 18, 2013
Tuesday Jun 18, 2013
As promised last time around, Joe and Ed descended on Sheffield DocFest, armed with nought but a pair of mics and a quest for the truth. They talk about the films, the events, the masterclasses and the parties that made DocFest's 20th anniversary so very special. Amongst all that important stuff, this episode includes the search for a mythical free breakfast and a disastrous, drunken attempt to interview someone on a dancefloor. Thanks to Tom Grater, Martin Parsons and Ralph Mackinder for additional waffle.

As promised, here s a front line dispatch from Sheffield DocFest 2012, featuring Colin Oakley of Slacker Cinema, Martin Parsons of Fohnhouse and PR imp Alex Rowland. Alas, a really great chinwag between Adam Batty of hopelies.com and myself ended up on the cutting room floor, as some mystical technical problem made us sound like robots talking underwater. Enjoy!
